Gabrielle Union, born Gabrielle Monique Union-Wade on October 29, 1972, is a well-known American actress who has built a diverse career across film and television. She has showcased her talent in a variety of roles, establishing herself as a prominent figure in the entertainment industry.

Union is celebrated for her performances in a number of popular movies. She has appeared in films like "The Brothers," "Deliver Us from Eva," and "Bad Boys II." She has also starred in "Daddy's Little Girls," "Think Like a Man," and its sequel, as well as the remake of "Cheaper by the Dozen." Beyond these roles, she took the lead in the BET drama series "Being Mary Jane," earning recognition with an NAACP Image Award. Additionally, she reprised her "Bad Boys II" character, Syd, in the spin-off series "L.A.'s Finest".

Before her success in more mainstream roles, Union was involved in the CBS medical drama "City of Angels" and also took on starring roles in films like "Cradle 2 the Grave," "Neo Ned," "Cadillac Records," "Top Five," "Breaking In," and "The Perfect Find."
